Dr. Nosaiba Rayan-Gharra, MHA, PhD
Dr. Rayan-Gharra completed her PhD (2019) in Department of Nursing at the University of Haifa (advisor: Prof. Efrat Shadmi) and her master’s degree in Public Health and Health System Administration (MHA). Her doctoral dissertation examined factors related to cultural characteristics and health care processes during transitions from the hospital to primary care, and their effect on the quality of the transitions and readmissions. Currently, she is a post-doctoral fellow in the Health Equity Advancement Lab in the Faculty of Medicine at Bar Ilan University. Lately she has co-led with Prof. Anna Zisberg the development of an online Open Access course of Geriatrics and Gerontology in the Arabic language. From October 2022, she will be a faculty member in the Department of Nursing at the University of Haifa.
