The Center for Research
and Study of Aging

About

The Center for Aging Research and Study brings together knowledge and research to drive progress in the aging field.

The Center engages in ongoing interdisciplinary research on aging. It also serves as a hub for the growth and advancement of researchers, providing essential career resources and facilitating collaboration with practitioners.

In addition, the Center actively promotes the dissemination of research knowledge through reciprocal learning and fostering research connections with diverse healthcare settings.

  • To provide a physical space where researchers from different departments, universities, approaches, and disciplines can meet and develop aging research together or separately. The center aims to expand its ranks by recruiting top researchers from within and beyond the department who are interested in advancing its goals.
  • To obtain financial resources for scholarships and research funds to encourage research on aging-related topics and to advance the Center’s research and academic excellence.
  • To maintain an interactive and up-to-date media presence featuring research, seminars, and conferences on aging issues, thus sustaining connections with researchers and research centers in Israel and abroad.
  • To build and deepen connections with the community by fostering relationships with nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
