Dr. Ziv Karni-Efrati
Dr. Ziv Karni-Efrati is a researcher at the Israeli Center for Disease Control, Ministry of Health; and at the Israeli Institute for Occupational safety and Hygiene. She earned her Ph.D. from the Gerontology Department, Faculty of Social Welfare and Health Science, University of Haifa, under the supervision of Professor Yuval Palgi, University of Haifa and Professor Naim Shehade, Technion. Her Ph.D. research topic was Pathways linking aging perceptions to physical, psychological and behavioral aspects of health among diabetic adults.
