Sharon Parnes, CSW, PhC
Sharon Parnes is a doctoral student in the department of Gerontology in University of Haifa, Department of Gerontology. Her doctorate study is supervised by professor Y. Palgi. In her doctorate study she attempts to bridge the theory-practice divide by combining applies philosophy with old people’s experiences and narrative in an intervention geared towards enhancement of wellbeing. With an extensive experience in the field of Gerontology her doctorate study is routed in practice. She has completed master degrees in Social Work and Gerontology.
