Dr. Galia Hasharoni, PhD
Dr. Galia Hasharoni is a research fellow and lecturer in the Department of Israel Studies and the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies at the University of Haifa. She also serves as the academic coordinator for the Dolgin Research Center for Jewish Migration from the Russian Empire at the University of Haifa. She completed her PhD in Israel Studies at the University of Haifa and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Yad Izhak Ben-Zvi Institute in Jerusalem. Her postdoctoral research examined the lives of elderly Jews in Mandatory Palestine.
