History 

The Center of Research and Study of Aging was founded in 1990 to address burning issues in the field of aging through research, promotion of social policy, and development of educational resources. Over the years, the Center has secured research funding from various esteemed organizations and institutes, including the Association for Planning and Development of Services for the Elderly in Israel (Eshel) of Joint Israel, the Rashi Foundation, the Bereavement Foundation, the Israel Cancer Association, the Ministry of Science, the European Commission, the Israel Science Foundation (ASF), the National Insurance Institute, and the Binational US-Israel Foundation.
