Professor Dikla Segel-Karpas PhD
Professor Dikla Segel-Karpas is the Chair of the Department of Gerontology. She earned her PhD in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, focusing on older workers and the transition to retirement. After a post-doctoral fellowship at the Department of Psychology, Brandeis University, she joined the Department of Gerontology. Her research focuses on mental health and well-being in older adulthood, couple and family relations in old age, subjective aging and the transition to retirement.
Dikla published more than 50 papers and book chapters.
