The Center’s Goals – The Center for Research and Study of Aging

The Center’s Goals:

To provide a physical space where researchers from different departments, universities, approaches, and disciplines can meet and advance the study of aging, together or separately. The Center strives to expand its ranks and recruit the best researchers from and outside the department who are interested in collaborating and promoting its goals.
To obtain financial resources for scholarships and research funds to encourage research on aging-related issues and to advance the Center’s research and academic excellence.
To maintain an interactive and up-to-date media presence featuring research, study days, and conferences on aging issues, thus sustaining connections with researchers and research centers in Israel and abroad.
To build and deepen connections with the community by fostering relationships with nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
